Former Olympic boxer Kenneth Egan has married his partner Karen Sullivan.
The couple wed on the fighting champ’s birthday yesterday.
He celebrated his 35th birthday at the wedding reception at the Lyons Estate in County Kildare, according to Independent.ie.
The groom shared his joy on Twitter on Friday when he declared “Getting married to Karen Sullivan tomorrow. Best birthday present ever.”
The couple became parents in October 2015, when their daughter Kate was born.
The former boxing champion now works as an addiction counsellor and is a Fine Gael councillor representing Clondalkin on South Dublin County Council.
