Imelda May is well known for her rockabilly look, but her statement red lip and vintage quiff is nowhere to be seen in her new music video and we cannot get over how different she looks.
In her new music video which is named ”Call Me’, the Dublin native has shown us her more natural side for one of the first times ever and she looks absolutely incredible.
The talented Liberties singer debuted her new look in the video for the first released track off her new album.
Speaking to the Evening Standard, Imelda admitted she needed a change of style when it came to her look.
”I just got fed up being a hairdo, an image, a style”.
”It got to the stage where it wasn’t me any more and it was a caricature.I felt boxed in and bored by discussions about my style as opposed to my music, songwriting, producing, which is what drives me”.
We’re loving her new natural look and she has never looked better.
