Do you want to be the talk of the wedding? Do you want to stand out from the crowd and be noticed? These “high end” fashion look from Matthew Williamson are perfect choices if you want to go all out and splurge for the big day.
With looks for the bride, bridemaids, guests and the all-important mother of the bride, there is really something for everybody.
The Modern Bride
Beaded Column Dress- €4,000.00
Matthew was inspired by the iconic peacock feather motif of his archive collections for this empire line gown. Ivory silk is hand-embroidered with beading through the skirt and over the empire line bust, cinched with a silk ribbon above the waist. Style the romantic look with our Poppy clutch, then add a Lapin Shrug for the evening.
Chic Guest
Blue Silk Chiffon Embroidered Evening Gown- €1,070
The ingenious drapery of this blue gown mean it flatters all shapes – cinching at the waist while skimming over the hips. The skirt of the gown is sheer chiffon that catches the air as you walk. A dress that will last the seasons and adapt to any black tie event – complement the inky hue with metallic accessories.
Fabulous Bridesmaid
Horoscope Etching Chiffon Wrap Gown- €900
For winter, the astrological symbolism of star signs played on Matthew’s mind to inform all aspects of the design process – from shapes and colours to embroidery and print. The print for this flattering wrap gown was hand-painted in the studio. Zodiac symbols like the fish of Pisces and the ram of Aries dance between pops of colour from birth flowers. This button-through style creates a front split which can be adjusted to suit.
Stunning Mother of the Bride
Pink Silk Georgette Embroidered Split Sleeve Dress- €660
Inspired by the geometric patterns of traditional Moroccan tiles, the embroidery of this pink dress features silk threadwork, crystals and miniature beads. The dress showcases a new design detail for the season – fluid, spilt sleeves. An easy-to-wear dress – the sleeves are unlined and slightly sheer while the body of the dress is fully lined.
