THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Rob Murphy, he does work for Red FM in Cork and others, a great Photographer, and cool dude, we asked him to make it casual and that’s what he did, he has great ideas for photos and is very easy to work with, he is also a very close friend.
THE RECEPTION
The MarBella Nerja, the owner sr Carmello put on a buffet to die for (not literally) the service was great, the want to make our day was perfect and very noticeable, the waiters and staff joined in with dancing and singing and enjoyed the day as much as we all did, the food was good and plentiful, the wine was red, white and rose and cava, we tipped them out of want not necessity.
The Music
Neasa De baroid and Ken Marshall played in the church, the music and singing was spellbinding and the audience loved it, when they were sound checking in the morning they filled the church with tourists and locals, about 100 people, they played a short concert for them all and left to rapturous applause, they enjoyed themselves immensely and it showed.
The Reception Neasa de baroid stood up at the table she was seated at as one of our guests and went into 30 minutes of opera and show songs, it was incredulous, she got up other great singers to sing along to songs while wandering about tables, it was a million dollars. Next was the bride and groom singing matrimony by Gilbert O’ssulivan and madnesses It must be love”
Then Orlagh sang to George. The rest of the evening consisted of the Roaring Forties and Gerry Kaley, Deirdre Hourahan, Anth Kaley, Christian Best , Ken Marshall, the brilliant Tony Davies from Headover heals, and Ezio from the UK (google them) we finished of with Karaoke, it was great
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY
Being married, the love in the air, the smiling faces of every one, the fun of it all, the music, the staff, 100 friends and family that had flown from all over the world. At 6:30 in the morning 6 of us went to watch the sun rise but it was still dark so instead we all walked down the beach where some of us got scared to death by a couple of skinny dippers. We said our goodbyes then went back to our apartments.
THE HONEYMOON
We were away for two weeks, our honeymoon was spent with all our friends and family, we are going to Australia and Newzealand to see our guests who came to spend our day with us.
