THE VENUE

Fota Island Hotel Cork. It was magical, the staff were fantastic and the day was such a hit. We had a magician organised for the reception and a photo booth arranged for the afters. We ordered bags of crisps for the night that had a personalised message from us too. As soon as the music started the dance floor was full, which is always a good sign. The food was phenomenal and I wouldn’t have got married anywhere else – everything just went off so smoothly!

SPECIAL HIGHLIGHTS

The highlight was definitely seeing each other at the top of the alter, but the dancing and the music was great too. That was where we just relaxed and let loose with everyone. We had a one man band, Jason Fallon, who got the place rocking and then Pat Dilworth was the DJ afterwards.

THE HONEYMOON 

We flew to Hawaii for two weeks over the Christmas break. Because we came home from Australia to get married, we weren’t able to have a honeymoon at the time. However, we did go to West Cork and drove to Killarney for a few nights of R&R………
