Ireland’s top celebrity wedding photographer Jenny McCarthy has launched her own series of wedding masterclasses to share her secrets for the perfect wedding with brides to be.
With over 12 years and over 1000 weddings under her belt, Jenny was the first call for some of Ireland’s top celebrities when they tied the knot, including Karen Koster, Glenda Gilson and Pippa O’Connor.
Having been lucky enough to work with Jenny on a number of shoots, ever since I myself got engaged I have been picking her brains at every opportunity and even her most basic tips are so genius you’d wonder how no one had ever thought of it earlier. The woman is literally like a bridal buddah.
So I was thrilled when she revealed to RSVP earlier this summer that she was launching her own wedding masterclass this November, where she will be sharing all of her tips and tricks (and there are many), along with the most unique ideas and inspiration she has come across over the years.
The wedding masterclasses will include her advice plus the all important dos and don’ts to ensure the most stress free romantic day.
The event will be broken down into two sections with guests arriving to a welcome reception and receiving a luxury goodie bag followed by invaluable advice on wedding hair, makeup, tan, wedding dress styling, styling for guests, the groom and groomsmen. Plus guests will enjoy a wedding themed afternoon tea.
Some of Ireland’s leading wedding experts joining Jenny on the day include:
• Derrick Carberry, Celebrity Makeup Artist, who will talk through makeup looks for that special day
• Sinead Sanderson from Peaches & Cream Boutique to discuss the all important underwear to give you the most flattering figure to work with your dress
• Caroline Moylan of Black Amber Hair Salon to talk about hair styles for brides, mothers of the bride and groom, bridesmaids and all of the wedding party
• Lisa & Linda of Bellamianta Tan will give tips on how to achieve a natural looking tan without destroying that all important white / ivory dress!
• Paula Kind from Tamem Michael Bridal Couture to talk through wedding dress styles
• Alana Miley from The Lash Lounge to discuss lashes that last your wedding day
• Laura Jordan from Stylesavvy.ie to explore outfits for the wedding day, the day after and honeymoon looks
• Louis Copeland will talk through identifying the perfect suit for the groom, groomsmen and fathers of the bride and groom
And speaking about the event, Jenny told RSVP, that everything about the day will be a dream come true for brides, with even the goodie bags focused on pure pampering and luxury for the brides to be.
“The goodie bag value will far exceed the price of the tickets, and while I am keeping some of the products a secret, everything will be full sized and some sneak peeks include products from Bellamianta, Seavite, Redkin and Yankee candles.”
The day out for brides, mother of the bride and the groom plus your bridal party will take place in Killashee House Hotel on the 26th November.
