24th October 2015
THE LOCATION
Curraheen Church, Tralee
THE DRESS
After visiting a few shops in Cork & Limerick I finally chose my dress in Finesse Listowel with the help of my mother Sandra and my little girl Ava.
THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Tara O’Donoghue Photography Tara & Dave were our photographers on the day and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough
THE RECEPTION
Ballyseede Castle Hotel, Tralee
HIGHLIGHTS
The highlight of my day was finally reaching my groom’s side at the alter. After all the excitement, anticipation, nerves and butterflies it was a welcome relief to finally get to reach Patrick, hold his hand and become husband & wife. With him by my side I was finally able to relax, settle in and enjoy our special day together.
FUNNIEST MOMENT
My brother Michael is a racehorse trainer based in the Curragh and he was whisked away by helicopter from the Church, having seen us be pronounced husband & wife but before the end of the mass, to Leopardstown racecourse where he went on to win his first Group 3 race for owner Sheikh Althani.
ADVICE FOR BRIDES TO BE
My advice would be if you have your heart set on a specific band, venue, photographer etc. book your date with them as soon as you can to avoid disappointment, once all the big things are booked you can sit back and enjoy putting your special little touches on your big day
