THE DRESS
A Ronald Joyce dress from McElhenny’s, Donegal. It was a ruched fishtail, off white silk gown with a V back and ruffled train.
HAIR & MAKEUP
Makeup: Aisha Kelly at Aveda C Spa, Ennis
Hair: Liz Anderson at Sizzors Wizzards Hair Salon, Ennis
THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Cormac Byrne, Limerick
THE RECEPTION
The reception took place in the main Brian Boru function room of Dromoland Castle. Black and white dressed tables surrounded a fairy light dance floor, with white ostrich feathers and green ferns as tall centre pieces. Each guest had a wedding favour of a set of Hollywood coasters with a personal hand written message from the David and Lourdes attached. This took us the longest to do but it was well worth it in the end as people couldn’t believe we wrote to each of them individually.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY
Our Vows, the entrance dance and the video presentation at the end of the night by Dreamcatcher Productions which really wowed our guests.
THE HONEYMOON
We went to Secrets The Vine in Cancun for two weeks. The hotel was absolutely fabulous and left you wanting nothing, the service was second to none. We had dinner on the beach one night, one of the most romantic nights of our lives. When we returned from Cancun we headed to Ibiza Spain and partied on for another week. A lot different to Cancun, but great fun.
