THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Jill O Meara and Aaron. Jill was like the wedding co-ordinator helping me with timing on the morning but also we had a great laugh. The atmosphere was so relaxed as a result we barely noticed the camera. As a result the photos are stunning. Aaron joined Darren in his parents house in Lexlip and to our local pub O’Keefes where Darren pulled himself a pint of guinness I couldn’t recommend Jill and Aaron more. Having our photos taken at the reception after was one of my favourite parts of the day.
THE RECEPTION
We wanted an intimate private reception in a country house with excellent food so we choose Moyvalley hotel and used Balyna house. It was just perfect. It was beautifully decorated and the perfect size to keep our guests together. We opted to have the top table in the center of the room so we felt close to all our guests. Our wedding co-ordinator Lynn Challoner was so efficient and helpful everything went off without a single hitch.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DAY
We were blessed with the weather to begin, everyone was in great form and there was a lovely fun and calm atmosphere to the day. The children walking up the aisle was very special, although the day was about Darren and I exchanging vows we are a very close family and the day reflected that. There are too many highlights to pinpoint one but the music, photographer and the venue were all very special.
HONEYMOON
We honeymooned in the beautiful beach resort of Youghal in Co.Cork. We stayed in a cottage on the beach with our three children. We had great weather and it was the perfect wind down time after all the excitement.
